I first heard about the Theobarth grant three years ago. I had a friend who was forcing me to register for grants like Ishiba and Telecom.
Most of the time, I just gave him the form registration fee so he could stop disturbing me.
I usually whine to him and make jest of him, asking him where the miracle grant of over 10 million Naira will come from.
I never believed, and till now, I still don’t.
So, after many years of waiting on the Ishiba grant, I heard that he had moved to Theobart and that Ishiba and other NGOs are now subsidiaries or, let’s say, partners with the Theobart grant.
Maybe you are like my friend who helped many people register for this grant, or you are like me, who got to know Theobarth through another NGO; this article will provide regular updates about the Theobarth grant.
What is Theobarth Global Grant in Nigeria
Theobarth is an NGO organization in Nigeria that officially registered with CAC in 2020. For many Nigerians, Theobarth is an NGO that promises enormous grants. However, no one has ever received any such grant to date.

- NGO Legal Impost and validation is N48,900
- Cluster Head is N28,900

I can see that this form is still obtainable on their website. But wait, let us talk about the genuity of the Theobarth grant.

If you are like me and many others who registered for this grant, you would have read hundreds of breaking news about when the funds will finally be disbursed.
Each day comes with new breaking news: I had to exit all the Theobarth telegram and WhatsApp groups I have joined.
Sometime in December of 2021, we were told to go to the mountains to fast and pray that the grant could be disbursed by December of that year.
I got tired of the never-ending messages of hope about the Theobarth grant until I asked myself, is this grant legit?
I plunged onto the internet to do all the necessary research. Here are seven things I found
- Who are the Donors of The Theobarth grant: The donors of this grant are non-existent. At least this information is not available to the public, and if available, it is not verifiable. If the donors cannot be found, then there is no grant in the first place.
- Some People Are Making Money From the Application Forms: Many people paid registration fees, close to a million people. Where did all this money go to? I will not make any suggestions here, but you should be able to think for yourself.
- How Much is Theobarth Grant paying: When I filled out the application, I filled in N10,000,000 Naira. Later on, Theobarth claimed that individuals could expect close to 2 million Naira. If They pay this sum to 200,000 people, that would be 400, Billion in Naira. What do you think?
- Over five years Without Disbursement: Many people have been on this grant issue for over five years: Telpeom grant, Ishiba NGO, etc. Till today, the grants have yet to be out. It won’t be paid anywhere cause there are no donors in the first place.
- No confirmed, trustworthy or accurate information is available about the disbursement of this grant.
What is Delaying Theobarth Grant Disbursement
Sorry to break your heart; nothing is delaying the grant disbursement. The truth is that this grant will not be disbursed as its fictitious.

How Much Is Theobarth Grant Paying
Each NGO is qualified for a Grant of N10 Million Naira only, while Cluster Heads are qualified for a Grant of N5 Million Naira only. Individuals are said to be entitled to 1,850,000 business grants.

Theobarth Grant Disbursement Date 2023 Latest News Today
Despite continued anticipation, doubts persist about the disbursement of the Theobarth grant, a Nigerian NGO initiative which is yet to distribute any funds since its official registration in 2020.
The grant, known for promising sizable awards, has been a source of speculation. Fees to apply range from N2,900 for an ordinary beneficiary to N48,900 for NGO legal impost and validation, and the application form remains available on Theobarth’s website.
The promised sum varies significantly between individuals; some expect to receive around N2 million, and some NGOs as much as N10 million. But the persistent question remains, who are the donors? A significant concern is that the benefactors’ identity needs to be made available and verifiable, leading to growing doubts about the genuineness of the grant.
Another concern is the revenue generated from the application forms. With close to a million people having paid registration fees, questions are being raised about the destination of these funds.
Furthermore, the disbursement process has been marred by a lack of trustworthy information and delays. At one point, grant applicants were advised to fast and pray for the funds to be disbursed.
